He is the worst professor i have ever had at VCU. The book provides no clarity at all to concepts and is written as if you are in his office talking to him! Tests are basic in comparison to the homework. Tests do follow the homework. Were these reviews helpful? He is a little corney, but at least he make the lectures different. He sort of has a way of making you feel as if you are beneath him.
He does teach straight from the book that he wrote but the book does not provide any more clarity than he does. His lectures are more important than reading hte book. He is not a babysitter, and expects you to earn your grade. No extra credit, No extra grades.
No more, no less. This is not high school. We don’t need another regurgitation class in college. He does not take attendance, but assumes you will do the homework and ask geirge. Anyone who complained about him is just lazy and whiney.
If you are confident in your ability to teach your self stats then this class is ok for you. Virginia Commonwealth University Edit.
Lectures are extremely important- if you miss one u WILL regret it. He doesnt care if you pass or fail. Probably cuz he wrote the book. No Would Take Again: He wrote the book, he should devote a chapter to life lessons or maybe the standard deviation of fooling all of the people all of the time.
He is the most unpredictable prof. Not helpful at all, there isnt even a tutor for this class. If you can avoid this guy canwvos do so! Does not want to deal with people in person, hes kind of a character.

Very straightforward and approachable. I can definitely agree with the prior comments about his cockiness, however, if you have a good sense of humor and can tolerate some of life’s pep talks which you may or may not need, he’s actually pretty funny.
My GPA dropped because of him.
