It was just a wee bit confronting. I’ve been busy enough lately that my time here on GoodReads has dwindled.
Sevil was a bloody idiot. If I had my way, she would write morning, noon and night and alternate between the two. Aside from that, I really liked Haven.

I was heartbroken eysd he believed that he could be like his father, a serial rapist, and when he “broke up” with Haven, but the break was mended a bit when he realized that Haven was more important to him than anything else. He inflicts spousal abuse upon Haven.

So I finished this almost a week ago and the details have gone a bit fuzzy. I was ecstatic, though, when she finally got up the nerve to leave the fucker and call Gage to get her. The teenage girl that now occupies this old ladies body still swoons a little bit every time I even think about Hardy Cates as a teenager. Let’s just say that I knew it was a Southern accent, I’m just guessing that it was Texan. Two years later, Haven comes home, determined to guard her heart.
